Steel backed polyurethane wear liners perform exactly the same as rubber wear liners, with some additional advantages:

Variations can be built into the moulding process, which may not be mechanically feasible with rubber
Polyurethane is available in a variety of Shore hardness’s (77 – 93 A) to suit individual applications
Polyurethane is available in a variety of colours for easy identification
